The Gentle Good is the stage name of Cardiff based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Gareth Bonello. Gareth takes influence from the traditional music and folklore of Wales along with a myriad of sources from all over the world to create timeless folk songs. A skilled guitarist and performer, Gareth has played all over the world; from car parks in Texas to the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing to the mountains of Nagaland.
The track ‘Briwsion’ (Welsh for ‘crumbs’) is a comment on inequality and a criticism of those that seek to perpetuate injustice to serve their own ends. A critically acclaimed songwriter and winner of the 2014 Welsh Language Album of the Year Award, Gareth is one of the most prominent musicians writing in the Welsh language today.
